The giant turkey legs, deep fried Oreos, or classic funnel cakes, the food is what everyone looks forward to when going to the Fair. This year the Fair is introducing all new food for you to try. Welcome the fall season with their deep fried pumpkin pie or experience something new with an Arepa, Envuelto, or Empanada among the many other foods that will be presented at the fairgrounds. In addition, Our State Public House in Heritage Circle will be showcasing about 40 different breweries and wineries across the state for the first time. You must be 21 years or older to buy tickets to sample all the different kinds of wines and beers that are locally crafted. The portion of the proceeds will go towards the research and marketing for the North Carolina’s craft beer industry. After your fill of food, don’t miss their daily events.
